Point to the dipstick.
Describe how you would remove the dipstick and wipe it clean.
Then put it all the way in and out again.
Then check the oil level.
It should be between the minimum and maximum markers.

It’s important that your engine has enough oil. If it doesn’t have enough oil, your car can breakdown and you could damage the engine.
You need to check the oil when you’re parked on a flat surface and when your engine is cold.
To check the engine oil, pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean.
Then put the dipstick all the way in and out again and look to see where they oil comes to.
It should be between the minimum and maximum markers.
