The hazard perception test works as follows:

The hazard perception section of the theory test must be passed on the same day as your questions and will take place immediately afterwards.

There are 14 One-minute video clips that contain developing hazards. In these 14 clips there will be 15 developing hazards for which you will be scored. This means that one clip has two scoring hazards in it, so you must concentrate through every clip from beginning to end.

During the test when you see what you think is a developing hazard you must click the computer mouse, if you have clicked the mouse immediately after the scoring window has opened (so you recognised the developing hazard early) you will score five marks but the later you leave it the lower your score until the window closes and you will score zero.
