Keep informed and supported:

Even when qualified you must keep up to date with any changes in regulations through joining a national association, read trade magazines and DVSA publications. The three national associations you can join to assist with this are:

Approved Driving Instructors Joint Council (ADINJC)

Driving Instructors Association (DIA)

Motor Schools Association (MSA)

Continued professional development:

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the future of the driving instruction industry and you must embrace it. It is not enough to qualify as an ADI and not continue to take training throughout your career. There are many courses available within the industry for you develop your skills and knowledge.
